Discussion
The discussion section should be the bulk of your unknown report. This is essentially the place for you to describe your project in narrative form. Do not write your report in a journal style format so do not include dates. Describe to the reader the route you used in identifying the unknown, the purpose of the different tests and the reasoning you used in the identification. You do not need to include a step by step description of how you performed each experiment. You will want to explain how you determined your unknown’s identity by describing which tests and characteristics were needed to assign the correct Genus and species, and the research you did with the internet, and other resources to verify your unknown.
This section should also include explaining contradictory tests and difficulties you may have experienced in your analysis. Credit may be assigned for clear and convincing justification for your unknown selection.
This section should be at least 3-4 pages in length.
Works Cited (5 pts)
Be sure to include a Works Cited page listing all of the resources you used (Textbooks, online resources, etc) using standard APA style. A minimum of 3 sources is required.
