[SOLVED] The purpose of this speech is to do one or more of the following: define, explain, describe, or demonstrate something to the class as well as help us understand important information.

Assignment Overview
The purpose of this speech is to do one or more of the following: define, explain, describe, or demonstrate something to the class as well as help us understand important information. DO NOT try to PERSUADE us to change our beliefs, attitudes, or behaviors.
The time requirement for this presentation is 5-7 minutes. Speeches that do not fall within this limit may receive grade deductions. Please practice and time yourself in order to stay within these limits.
Three sources are required for this speech and MUST be orally cited as well as included in the body and references of your outline. Sources should be varied (e.g. books, magazines, newspapers, credible electronic sources, etc.). Additionally, you should use at least two types of evidence such as example, definition, testimony, statistics, etc.
One visual aid is required for this speech. This may include pictures, models, maps, graphs, videos, Power Point slides, etc. Be sure to use visuals that are large enough to be clearly seen by all members of your audience. All visuals should enhance your speech and aid in the audience’s understanding of your topic.
This presentation is worth 75 points.
Make sure your speech has a clear introduction, a clear body, and a clear conclusion.
The introduction to the speech should gain attention and state your purpose in the speech, provide a listening reason (adaptation to the audience), establish your credibility, and offer a preview of your main points.
The body of the speech should contain two or three clear main points that are cleanly organized in one of the recognized organizational patterns. Each main point should be well supported with sub points and related evidence (e.g. examples, facts, quotations) and should be balanced – one main point should not be considerably longer or shorter than the others.
The conclusion of the speech should restate or summarize the main points and provide closure for the speech. Keep the conclusion straightforward and relatively brief.
Transitions between major sections of the speech (i.e., introduction, body and conclusion) and the main points should be written in the outline and spoken during the delivery of the speech. Use transitions to lead your listeners along and to keep them with you.
Delivery: Seek to employ eye contact, facial animation, proper posture, gestures, appropriate volume and vocal variety in your presentation. Be sure to dress in appropriate business casual attire (NO JEANS, NO T-SHIRTS).
The outline for the speech must BE TYPED and follow the appropriate format.
