Objective
The purpose of this assignment is to help you familiarize yourself with scholarly writing and research in the field of communication and to encourage critical thinking on research.
Instructions
Write a  1-2 page  paper on Dr.  Samuel Hardman Taylor’s  study on “ Upstanding by Design ” by answering the questions below.

Requirements
1-2 page paper on the research article
Double-spaced, 12-point font, 1” margins in academic paper format (i.e., Questions 2-6 should be written in essay format and the citation should be at the top of the paper.).
Your paper must:
Give a full citation for the article using APA format (see APA examples on Blackboard).
Clearly state and explain the hypothesis, research question(s), or thesis that drive the authors’ study. In other words, what communication aspects do the authors deal with?
Describe how the authors conducted their research. That is, what was the design of the study or method used by the authors to answer the research question(s)?  That is, was it an analysis of text, historical research, surveys, experiments, and etc.?  How was it conducted?
What results or findings do the authors claim? And, what are the implications and/or relevance of those findings, according to the authors?
Comment on your evaluation of the article. That is to say, what did you like about the authors’ research and analysis, and why?  How does their work fit into and contribute to communication studies?
What are some questions (minimum of two) about the reading you would like to ask the authors if you could?
