Examine the church’s response to the Enlightenment and the missionary challenge during the age of modernity.
WHY –
The Church and Christian communities around the world were confronted by the Enlightenment period and modernity. Christian witness and proclamation took on various forms and new commitments for global evangelism impacted the world. There may be a need to assess different forms of Christian witness and make renew commitment with the global challenges we are currently facing as well.
