This essay will be a reflection web of an idea.  Reflections stem from an observation or experience that raises a question or leads to an insight into the human condition.  Reflective essays are about the ways in which we live and interact the goals towards which we strive and the shortcomings that stop us from achieving our goals.  Write a reflective essay based on something you experienced or observed.  Describe this occasion vividly so that readers can understand what happened and will care about what you have to say about it.  Next, make some general statements exploring its possible meanings or cultural significance.  Finally, consider what the occasion might imply about how people in our society behave towards one another, what they value, and what assumptions or stereotypes they may hold consciously or unconsciously.
Begin by brainstorming what you remember observing or the experiences you have had during your life and what these imply about society.  Use the six-question sheet to make a more detailed reflection on what you experienced.  During the drafting, use a less formal, almost conversational style in writing your essay.
You will be graded on the unity, support, coherence, and sentence skills in your essay.  You will also be evaluated on how well you develop your own experiences as the basis for developing ideas about general subjects or for developing ideas about the way people are and the ways they interact based on your experiences, and how well you have encouraged the readers to reflect on their own lives.
