By now, as a student support worker (or in a previous occupation) you may have experience
working with a couple different clients. Reflect on a client and give a brief history on them (do
NOT include real names). For example, name, age, independence level, type of care you are
providing (home, community, facility) etc.
1. Reflect on Erikson’s stages of human development. According to Erickson, what
developmental stage your client experiencing, and what type of behaviours would you
expect from them? What significant events could be occurring at this time in their life?
2. Identify health maintenance considerations you would want to ensure are being met (i.e.
nutrition, immunizations, etc.) with your older adult client.
3. Create three appropriate interventions related to the health maintenance considerations
you addressed to improve their quality of life. Be sure to rationalize your interventions.
Your paper must include a title page, 2-3 pages of body and a reference page according to APA
7th ed. format. Contact the Writing Centre if you are unsure of how to do this. You must include
two references to support your discussion (one can be your textbook). Paper is to be submitted in
WORD format via BlackBoard.
