Response papers should be more than one but less than two pages with 1″ margins, Arial font 12, double spaced with your name in the upper right corner.  Pick an article either, Options are “Engaging the Trans Debate on Gender Variance” or “Intersectionality and the Study of Black Sexual Minority Women”  Summarize that article.  Include the main points and supporting arguments.  This should take about 3/4 of a page.  Even if the author uses technical language, write the summary so that it is easy to understand.  It is IMPERATIVE that this summary is accurate in order to gain an acceptable grade for the paper!  Then turn to your response.  This part should show that you can integrate the concepts and work with them.
