Introduction: To start with, start your introduction with a catching phrase to attract your reader’s attention. Then explain what “magical realism” is, which functions/purposes it fulfills in films, and the relevance of the question pertaining to African cinema, and more specifically to the films to be listed with their title and director.
Analytical development: You may organize your development by films (listed above). Describe each director’s cinematographic style and techniques used in creating a magical realism to analyze complex issues (to be named) in each film: Make sure to conceptualize the underpinning social, psychological, political realities that said techniques convey. Each section of your paper (i.e., each film analyzed) should be given equal length (around ¾ of a page for each film). Reminder: Conceptualizations are not projections.
The purpose of a conclusion is to provide an overall conceptualization/answer from the findings presented throughout the paper’s development. As such, there should be no repetition copied and pasted from earlier lines, as well as no further development. The conclusion should be focused on offering a conceptualized answer to the research question.
Required Format: Minimum ¾ of a page per film, + roughly half a page for introduction + half of page for conclusion => overall, a total of 6 pages + not included the space needed for references. Character size #12 + style Times New Roman or similar, double spaced, 1-inch margins.
