In your second assignment, you should address the following sections of the demographic profile project. Discuss each section of the assignment, and submit your paper into a dropbox . Your paper should address all of the aspects described below, and the expected minimum length is 5 pages, excluding tables and references. Please refer to credible sources in your paper and make sure to state all in-text references properly in ASA style. Include a references page at the end of your paper. You are expected to use at least 5 credible sources AND the textbook – a minimum of 6 sources, and at least 2 sources must be peer-reviewed journal articles. Newspapers, magazines, and .com websites are not considered credible sources in this class. Please don`t brainstorm – all important statements must be supported by the literature.

1. Fertility Rates
Discuss crude birth rate, general fertility rate, child-woman ratio, total fertility rate, and net reproduction rate. Age-specific fertility rate/s are optional but recommended. Make sure to correctly interpret each measure. Analyze the causes of low/high fertility.

3. Migration Rates
Discuss the patterns, causes and consequences of emigration/immigration in the country you have been analyzing (whichever is applicable). Examine why migration rates are low or high. Discuss net migration rate.

8. Age and Sex Structure
Show and discuss the sex ratio of the total population and sex ratio at birth. Provide a population pyramid, analyze the age and sex structure, and discuss the implications of age/sex structure for employment, school, and social services.
