[SOLVED] American women’s history

American women’s history the project MUST focus on American women’s history in the years covered in this course – for 1900 to the present.

    use at least 3 sources (either online or print) for your research.  Neither Wikipedia nor the textbook are acceptable final sources for your project.

    include at least 3 visuals (photographs, images of documents, etc.).  The visuals must be put into historical perspective (e.g., explain what is being portrayed, where and when it originally appeared) and they should be formatted to appear correctly in your presentation.  You may also include links to audio/visual resources if appropriate, but these are not required and should not be a major component of your project

    be sure to use quotation marks when directly quoting from a source, or you will be guilty of plagiarism and will lose credit for the assignment.

    cite your sources in a way that makes clear which source you are using for which quotations, facts, and visuals.  It is not enough to just list the sources at the end – I need to know WHICH source is being used WHERE.  One easy way to do that is to number the sources & use numbers on the slides to indicate which source you’re referring to.  APA is the typical style used to cite in history, but I’m not fussy about HOW you cite, just that you CLEARLY cite.

    do not put whole paragraphs of text on a slide but include enough context for the viewer to understand your ideas

    length = between 14 and 16 slides, including the following required slides:
    *Introduction: explain the topic, who you are & why you’re interested in the topic (I can do this slide if you could leave this one blank for me.)
    *Outline: list the primary focus and the major points you will cover
    *Conclusion: explain how your major findings relate to specific ideas/concepts/events we’ve studied in class. (From the textbook, this can be about mothers increased participation in the workforce after their children reached school age, women of color who held high degrees were able to work in white-collar work, while poor women of color were limited to find work due to their immigrant status and lack of language skills.)
    *Bibliography: end with a slide citing your sources for both written work and visuals.  If using online sources, be sure to indicate the NAME of the webpage (not just the URL address).
