[SOLVED] A short (3/5 minute) fiction film, suitable for filming as the Short Drama
FLM1100 – Assessment One – Short Script for Drama
Write a script for a short (3/5 minute) fiction film, suitable for filming as the Short Drama (Assessment 4) for FLM1301.
The film should be inspired, in some way, from a folk tale, fairy tale, myth, parable, or fable. It should be filmable with student resources and under COVID conditions, have a clear beginning, middle, and end (in that order), and contain a character who experiences some kind of change or realisation. It should contain either no dialogue, or minimal.
The screenplay should be properly formatted (we suggest you use software such as CELTX or Final Draft). It should be a maximum of 2/3 pages long.
The screenplay should make use of what you have learnt so far, in terms of storytelling and film. Make sure you give the name of the story that served as inspiration, and include at the top of your script a two-line/sentence summary, eg “A young man is transported to the past, where he must reunite his parents before he and his future cease to exist.” (Back to the Future).
The screenplay should be uploaded as a pdf on MyLearning before 23:59 on the 12th November 2021.
