Your assignment is to research and present a 5-10-minute power point presentation about a franchise opportunity of your choosing (to be established in your country or elsewhere). The presentation is to be seven slides with the ingredients as follow:
Slide one – Title slide with your name, the franchise opportunity being presented
Slide two – History of the franchise and what is its primary focus: product or service
Slide three – What is required, (financially, experience, other resources, etc) to
become a franchisee for this business.
Slide four – What support is being offered by the franchisor
Slide five – Your reasons why this is a good idea
Slide six – Your reasons why this is not a good idea
Slide seven – Your recommendation: GO or NO GO, (include the main reasons why)
You will need to have a professional looking slide show that can be easily viewed from any seat in the classroom. Choose backgrounds and fonts wisely.

Students will need to select a topic that interests them and that they believe essential to the reform of the US Criminal Justice System, such as sentencing reforms students can select a crime they believe needs restorative justice practice such as genocide of Nations or sexual abuse of minors. Once you have chosen a topic you will need to write a research paper that includes research and fieldwork. For example, if you decide to discuss the reform of parole, you will need to both research the topic but also the resources available to parolees and/or families. Similarly, if you decide to analyze the use of restorative practice in school you will need to research the topic and which restorative practice are used in your high school.
