Topic: live streaming: How US companies can use China as a model of how to develop a larger market for livestreaming in the US

Abstract: As livestreaming commerce becomes a new trend, more and more companies are using livestreaming to promote their brand or products. While livestreaming is very popular in China, US livestreamers haven’t yet been able to develop the market as fully as in China. There are multiple reasons for this phenomenon, but my paper assumes that US companies that adopt some of the most successful Chinese live streaming marketing strategies, such as constraints on time and product supply and use of influencers already popular through other social media channels, can enhance brand awareness, favorability, live interaction with audiences, and ultimately sales.
