According to the theory of evolution, all life evolved from non-living matter and branched through millions of years of adaptation and changing environments into what it is today. Humanity has evolved on this planet for millions of years, surpassing incredible feats at each stage, eventually gaining the ability to create tools out of rocks and sticks, and become the most efficient hunters (Veldhuis & Maslin, 2014).
