[SOLVED] processes of governance

Propose two amendments to our Constitution (different from the two you proposed in the first essay)  to address problems such as the ones we’ve covered so far this term; amendments that you think would improve our system (i.e. make it more fair, make it more democratic, help to prevent abuses of power, help to better protect liberty, etc.)
Your amendments should not be like laws – they shouldn’t propose specific programs or regulations or criminal statutes or anything like that.  They should be corrective of processes of governance, the distribution of power, issues involving people’s rights, issues involving the fairness of the political system, and things such as that.  (Or perhaps, the amendment could clarify an aspect of the process of governance that is unclear in the Constitution.)
For each of the amendments you propose, you should:
describe (or quote) the part of the Constitution,  SPECIFICALLY CITING THE ARTICLE AND SECTION you seek to change, clarify, or add to and explain why you think it needs to be changed;
provide the rough wording of your amendment (you can model the style on the actual existing amendments, which are in the appendix of your textbook);
explain your rationale: how would your amendment improve our political system?;
answer any objections you think might be raised to your proposed amendment.
Conclude by explaining the process of amending the Constitution that is described in the Constitution, and assess the feasibility of your amendments succeeding through this process.
